With over 17 people dying every day waiting for an organ transplant and the list reaching over 100,000 and growing, a group of media experts is leveraging their knowledge of the industry to raise awareness of those waiting for an organ transplant. Transplant Prime aspires to become the Associated Press (AP) to newsrooms except instead of breaking news, they share stories about everyday people who are in need of a living kidney donor, received a transplant, organ donation awareness, and financial assistance for donation or recovery.

Transplant Prime has been able to share hundreds of stories leading to transplants but knows that there is a lot of work still to complete. Recently launching an Instagram and working more closely with seasoned journalists, the team hopes to partner with more Transplant Centers across the country to inform every patient who wants to share their story of the service to reach millions of people some of who will be willing and available to help.
